We are looking for an Administrator to provide a variety of clerical, administrative and business support at Horizons Academy.
The candidate will work alongside our Business Manager/Team Leaders, the wider admin team, and will be an integral part of our successful academies.
The role will be based at Horizons Academy which is due to open to pupils in January 2026.

Be part of Horizons Academy, a brand new, state of the art special school opening in January 2026 in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. The purpose-built academy will meet the needs of children and young people from key stage 2 to 5 with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), along with autism spectrum conditions (ASC). The academy will accommodate 160 pupils aged 7 to 19.
The successful candidate will:
Have excellent administrative and IT skills, and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Teams.
Be able to work independently and as part of a team, building strong relationships.
Have good planning, prioritisation and organisational skills.
Be able to demonstrate efficient and collaborative working utilising a variety of IT systems.
An understanding of the importance of the support function across school departments.
The successful candidate will be part of an organisation that is ambitious for its young people. Your role will play an important part in ensuring the smooth running of the administrative functions within the academy, alongside the Team Leader and Business Manager.
