We are currently looking for an administrator to support our team delivering alternative education and activity sessions to children and young people, in our outdoor, animal-focussed setting.
This role is full time 30 hours a week, worked flexibly from home. There may be the option to increase hours for the right candidate.
The role requires a great deal of initiative, prioritising competing demands, attention to detail and a high level of written and spoken English. Duties will cover a range of general administrative support tasks for the business but will include maintaining Human Resources records, liaising with families and school for enquiries and bookings, organising paperwork, website updates, creating social media posts and digital marketing.
New Leaf Triangle is a not-for-profit organisation providing outdoor, therapeutic activities for children and young people who have neurodiverse conditions, mental health needs, have experienced trauma or who have health conditions or disabilities. Some young people may exhibit behaviours that challenge.

Administrator -
The administrator will under the guidance of the Business Manager to provide the business and administrative function of New Leaf Triangle, which in turn allows the onsite team of session leaders and volunteers to deliver session to the young people and families who use our service. Most of this work is computer and phone-based and can be done from home, though there will also be regular meetings and visits at one of our sites near Melton Mowbray.
There will be a requirement to attend regular training, including in school holidays and some evenings.
The Administrator's role will cover the following tasks and responsibilities (depending on contracted hours)
Maintaining Human Resources (HR) records and organising recruitment rounds
Responding to general enquiries about our provision
Supporting with student admissions - including organising correct paperwork
Liaising with families over holiday bookings
Liaising with managers regarding student record keeping
Inputting information for tenders and quality assurance documents
Maintaining contact and booking records
Updating website and creating social media posts
Creating and updating digital marketing material and maintaining contact lists
Conducting annual DBS checks and follow up actions
Recording payment of invoices and following up late payments
Providing business information for stakeholders
Supporting the review and update of business policies
Other general administrative and support tasks as they arise.

Hours:
A minimum of 30 hours a week, initially. Hours worked and tasks completed will be reported to line manager. This will be reviewed at formal points after 4 weeks and 3 months with the possible option to increase hours at the discretion of the management team, according to competencies and business need.
Sick pay and holiday pay:
Statutory sick pay. 28 days annual holiday including bank holidays pro rata.
Location:
The majority of hours will be done from home. When attending site, the main address is New Leaf Triangle CIC, Goadby Lane, Chadwell, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, LE14 4LP and Site 2 is Eastwell Road, Goadby Marwood, Melton Mowbray, LE14 4ES.
Training:
A full induction and training will be given. This will include role-specific training from the Business Manager and mandatory elements for all staff, including Safeguarding and Health and Safety.
There will be regular, mandatory training and team meetings throughout the year, including sometimes during school holidays.
You need to be willing to keep yourself updated on new policies, procedures, health and safety documents and student details that will be shared with you. There will also be on the job training and optional internal and external courses available for your own professional development.
Support and reviews:
You will receive a 1:1 meeting with your line manager monthly during the first 2 months and then every 3 months. You can discuss what is working and what isn't and how we can support you. You can also discuss your own professional and personal development.
Expenses:
You may claim travel expenses if you are asked to travel to places other than to the New Leaf Triangle sites or local training venue or asked to travel outside of your usual working hours or days.
