C2C Social Action is a Christian charity working to support individuals across Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes to break cycles of offending, abuse, and disadvantage. With a team of 32 staff and a wide range of life-changing projects--including women's centres, a men's hub and housing, community gardens, and other specialist services--we are committed to restoring lives and building hope.
We are now recruiting two administrators to join our team. Working closely together, the successful candidates will share and cover core administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations across our centres. You will also provide cross-cover for each other and be flexible in supporting our three sites when required.
Role Purpose
The Administrator will be part of the Women's Centre team, providing essential administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and Project Manager. This role ensures that the centres are safe, welcoming spaces for women, that all administrative processes are carried out efficiently, and that accurate data and reporting underpin the organisation's operations.
The centre provides a safe space for women to attend and access support services from a multitude of service providers, where professionals co locate alongside our team to provide an excellent and comprehensive support package to the women.
Occupational Requirement: Due to the nature of the role, and in line with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010, this post is open to female applicants only as the successful candidates will be located within our women's centres.
Key Responsibilities
The post-holders will share and cover the following responsibilities:
Centre & Team Support
Act as a first point of contact, responding to emails, telephone calls, and greeting all visitors.
Ensure all service users and professionals sign in and are welcomed to the centres.
Support the day-to-day running of the Women's Centres.
Cover and support colleagues across our centres in Northampton, Milton Keynes, and Kettering when required.
Administration & Data
Collect, input, and maintain accurate data from entry systems, group registers, and service feedback.
Collate case studies to evidence the effectiveness of the work.
Take minutes at management and team meetings.
Set up meetings and support recruitment processes as required.
Administer and process DBS applications.
Collate incoming invoices, receipts, and administer petty cash.
Assist with the publication and distribution of newsletters.
Systems & Compliance
Oversee printing and consumables for the organisation.
Lead on ensuring IT infrastructure is compliant and implemented effectively.
Maintain awareness of and adhere to GDPR, data protection, and safeguarding policies.
Record safeguarding incidents in line with organisational policy.
Communication & Promotion
Publicise the activities of C2C Social Action across relevant channels.
Collate and share feedback with relevant teams.
Communicate effectively with all users of the centres, professionals, and colleagues.
Other
Undertake project work as agreed with the line manager.
Attend staff meetings, training, and supervision sessions as required.
Be flexible and adaptive to meet the needs of the organisation.
Person Specification
Qualifications & Experience
Relevant qualification to a good standard (ideally A-Level or above) or significant experience in administration.
Strong working knowledge of Office 365 (including SharePoint, Teams, and other applications).
Understanding of office administration processes.
Experience working with confidential data and maintaining accurate records.
(Desirable) Knowledge of the barriers faced by people with complex needs, trauma-informed practice, and/or the criminal justice system.

Condition of Employment
This post is subject to Adult Workforce Regulations. Appointment and continuing employment will be subject to funding, the granting and maintaining of a satisfactory DBS and 2 suitable references.
