Who are Acis Group?

We began as a social landlord providing homes in West Lindsey. Now we provide over 7,000 affordable homes across the East Midlands, Yorkshire and the Humber. Our homes include ones for affordable rent, Shared Ownership, people aged 55 and over and supported housing \xe2\x80\x93 but now, we do so much more. In addition, there are over 4,000 learners a year are supported in local communities stretching from Sheffield to Mablethorpe \xe2\x80\x93 with everything from entry level qualifications, arts and wellbeing courses through to employability support to help people fulfil their potential. This is through Riverside Training, our employment and skills team, and CLIP, an education provider.

This role would be ideal for someone with solid administration and IT skills as well as a genuine interest in talking to people. We are a warm and welcoming team.

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months

What might fill your day to day as a Neighbourhood Administrator:
  • Proactively supporting and assisting the Neighbourhood team to deliver an efficient and compliant service
  • Proactively and accurately tracking, updating and monitoring databases to help ensure the team is compliant in our heating or electrical safety protocols and financial duties
  • Supporting and administering procurement processes, from purchasing requests through to invoicing
  • Ensuring that invoicing and contract management is compliant by actively administering and producing the documentation
  • Effectively verbally communicating and negotiating with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that agreed timescales are kept to
  • Getting written agreements whilst following a strict timely process and following the relevant legislation
  • Ensuring that the garage waiting list is maintained and income maximised
  • Providing administrative support to the entire team to ensure an effective neighbourhoods service which is efficient and effective for our customers
  • Monitor and deal with customer enquires including recording on our customer system and coordinating appointments
  • Supporting the allocations process in letting properties
  • Embracing our new agile way of working
What a good Neighbourhood Administrator looks like to us:
  • A customer first approach to internal and external customers
  • You\xe2\x80\x99re computer literate with knowledge and experience of computer-based office management systems
  • The ability to interpret information and put it int o the right format for different audiences
  • A willingness to learn new work streams \xe2\x80\x93 we\xe2\x80\x99re all about cross-skilling our people.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to independently achieve deadlines
  • You\xe2\x80\x99ll have the ability to handle information, securely, timely and accurately including producing clear written reports, letters and minutes.
  • You\xe2\x80\x99re happiest working with people, having the ability and commitment to solve problems
  • An excellent standard of communication both verbally and in a written format, with influencing and negotiation skills
  • You\xe2\x80\x99re self-motivated, resilient and have the drive and determination to achieve results
  • The understanding that we need a flexible approach to working hours, with occasional out of hours working

Whast will make you stand out from the crowd:
  • You\xe2\x80\x99ll have knowledge of and understanding of social housing and housing management
  • You\xe2\x80\x99ll have experience of procurement systems, raising and completing invoices and purchase orders
