Are you an organised and motivated individual looking for an exciting administrative role within the Adult Social Care Service at West Berkshire Council? We are seeking an Administrator to provide essential support to the registered Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of Birchwood Care Home.

Role and Responsibilities



As an Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for enquiries and will play a crucial role in maintaining effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders. Your key responsibilities include:

Providing administrative support to the registered Manager Handling incoming calls, emails, and correspondence Maintaining accurate records and files Arranging meetings and taking minutes Assisting with the processing of invoices and expenses Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards

Skills and Attributes



The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite Experience working in a similar administrative role within a social care or healthcare environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
