What Does the Role Include?

As a Service Administrator at WASHCO, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support. You will be responsible for coordinating service activities, managing communications, and keeping our internal systems running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

Acting as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email, ensuring all communication is professional and efficient. Coordinating service jobs and planning engineer workloads to align with agreed time slots. Creating and maintaining accurate job records, including service requests, invoicing details, and warranty claims. Monitoring daily schedules to ensure all work is completed on time. Managing van stock ordering and liaising with suppliers where required. Working closely with engineers, the service admin team, technical teams, and sales to support effective service delivery. Contributing to proactive projects, customer initiatives, and continuous improvement activities to enhance overall service performance. Maintaining and updating company data to support future customer engagement.

What Skills and Experience Are Required?



We're looking for someone with:



Experience in customer service or administrative roles, ideally within a service-led or technical environment. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage customer enquiries professionally and confidently. Strong organisational skills, including workload planning, multitasking, and prioritising under pressure. High attention to detail, with accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and invoicing processes. Confidence using IT systems, CRMs, and general office software. The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team. Experience handling warranty claims or stock control (desirable but not essential). A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
