We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Administrative Assistant to support our Building repair network based out of Nottingham. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the processing and management of insurance claims, providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the department. This role involves data entry, communication with clients and insurers, document handling, and general office support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the insurance claims team and assist with daily operations.
Input and update claims data accurately in internal systems and databases.
Communicate with clients, insurers, and third parties via email and phone to request or provide information.
Track the progress of claims and follow up on outstanding documentation.
Assist with the preparation of reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence.
Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings related to claims processing.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and claim information at all times.
Support the team with ad-hoc tasks and general office duties.
Requirements:
Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within insurance.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of insurance claims processes or terminology is an advantage.
