About the Role




We have a fantastic opportunity for an

Administrator

to join our Security team based in Helensburgh. This is a Part-Time role working 30 hours per week. We are

flexible

on days and times so those 30 hours could suit someone looking to work around school hours. We also support

hybrid working

so after a qualifying period you'd typically

split your time 50/50 between home and office working

.



This role will provide administrative support and I.T. Security Officer (ITSO) function. This is a busy team with changeable priorities so someone with good communication skills and the ability to re-prioritise their workload as instructed is required. The ITSO function includes providing support to employees with established site IT security processes but an IT background is not required. This role needs someone who is able to escalate queries appropriately and be comfortable to act on their own initiative. The successful applicant will be given full training and will be supported and mentored by the other two members of the security team, some of your duties will include but not be limited to:Monitoring and managing the Security team inbox Reviewing and issuing Security communications Managing applications for Security Clearances Dealing with incoming queries and requests Supporting the wider team with Security Administration tasks

The successful candidate must achieve the appropriate level (SC) of security clearance. More details can be found here

Required skills, qualifications and experience




Proven experience in an Administration role Good knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both written and verbal Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Highly organised and able to deliver to set deadlines Holds high level of professionalism at all times, ensuring high standards Experience with or capable of handling sensitive / personal information and data Good verbal and written communications skills Comfortable liaising with internal and external stakeholders
