The role
As an Administrator, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Your contribution will help ensure smooth operations across restricted areas and high-profile projects, giving you the chance to develop your skills and grow your career in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
Day-to-day, you'll provide essential support to senior managers and project teams working on some of the UK's most important defence programmes. This is a varied and dynamic role where no two days are the same - from managing diaries and coordinating meetings to supporting events and maintaining project documentation.
Providing administrative and secretarial support to multiple teams
Managing diaries, arranging travel, and coordinating meetings
Organising away days, conferences, and events onsite and offsite
Maintaining SharePoint sites and ensuring consistency across projects
Preparing reports, collating data, and producing presentation packs
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.
Essential experience of the Administrator
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills
Proficient interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Qualifications for the Administrator
GCSE in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or Customer Service Practitioner
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
