Job Description

The Diocese of Guildford is seeking a proactive Administrator who has good attention to detail to join our Central Administration Team.
The Administration Team provides efficient and flexible administrative services to Church House Guildford (CHG) leaders and teams. In this varied role, the Administrator (Property/Mission) will be the first point of contact for administration services, supporting both the Property team and Mission teams.

*Some of the Key Responsibilities

:

+ Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient operations

+ Respond to maintenance and repair requests from diocesan property residents
+ Oversee moves in and out of Diocesan Property by incumbents and tenants
+ Assist the Director of Mission to facilitate the Ministerial Development Review process
+ Support the Director of Ordinands with the appraisal process for curates
+ Assist with coordinating titles for curates and Ordinands
+ Manage the Administration team mailbox and calendar.

*Qualifications and Experience

:

+ Minimum A-level education or equivalent

+ Proven experience in a professional environment, such as a charity or public sector environment
+ Proven ability to collaborate and contribute effectively as part of a team.
+ Ability to proactively manage and prioritise tasks
+ Superb attention to detail and accuracy
+ Experience in the use of technology with the ability to adapt to new software, systems and processes
+ Experience of handling highly confidential information with discretion and care.

Personal Attributes:+ Proven ability to build credibility and respect, fostering strong working relationships with a diverse range of colleagues and stakeholders
+ Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
+ Capable of working independently while also being a supportive team member.
