Neighbourhood navigation (social prescribing) is an exciting NEW service for East Surrey, enabling GPs, nurses, other health and care, and social professionals to refer or recommend people into a range of local, non-clinical community-based services across the Joy platform.
The administrator role will form a key part of the new team delivering this new service. We would love to hear from you if you are a passionate, organised, and a community-minded individual, with a strong background in providing admin support for a team or individuals.
The admin role will be a key role within the team and you will be juggling a varied workload with often competing deadlines. You will work alongside the navigators and respond to patient enquiries so excellent communication skills are a necessity.
Interview Dates: 1 or 9 September 2025.
Main duties of the job
The administrator role will have an interesting and varied workload. Working as the first point of contact for the new service and helping patients with any enquiries. You will also be supporting the team of navigators and help with informing community groups and local support about the new service.
You will be working within the neighbourhood teams to provide information or answering any queries that they may have. You must be an effective team member but also be able to work on your own and use your initiative, to resolve problems with minimal supervision and have strong attention to detail.
