Broadfield Project Management provide Quantity Surveying and Project Management services to the construction industry. We are currently seeking an office administrator to join our well-established team in Sheffield City Centre.
Job Purpose
The purpose of the role is to provide office administrative support to the wider team, this will include, assisting with procurement activities and general all-round admin. The role would suit a candidate with previous administration experience, an ability to work under pressure and confidence in the use of Microsoft packages. A keen eye for detail and ability to prioritise task will also be advantageous.
Due to the nature of the role, the candidate will be required to work from the office on a daily basis.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist in the production of reports, presentations and other documents
Assisting with procurement activities; obtaining and comparing quotes, preparing purchase orders
Proof reading and sense checking reports and Excel documents
Creating presentations in PowerPoint
Answering inbound telephone calls and taking messages
Responding to email and telephone queries
Ordering supplies and construction materials online or over the phone
Accurately organise office files, documents and records
Conduct online research and compile data as needed
Booking accommodation and travel
Taking accurate meeting minutes
General administration to support the wider team
Skills and Experience: -
Experience of working in administrative role
Experience of taking accurate meeting minutes would be advantageous
Ability to work unsupervised and manage own time and workload effectively
Competent in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Excellent numerical, written, communication and listening skills
Confident telephone manner
GCSE grade C or above in maths and English (or equivalent)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
