Faculty Operating Service (FOS) - Faculty of Medicine

Interview Date: Friday 28th November 2025 (in-person interviews)

The Faculty of Medicine is seeking a motivated individual to provide professional, operational and administrative support within a busy team.


You will join the School of Cancer Sciences based at University Hospital Southampton on a full-time, permanent basis. Please note that an efficient, convenient and cost effective Park & Ride system is in operation for University staff employed at the Hospital campus.


You will be proactive and possess strong administrative and proven organisational skills. You will be a team player with a keen eye for detail and a flexible, can-do attitude with the ability to manage your own workload and meet tight deadlines. You will have IT, interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to providing excellent customer service. An awareness of university processes and regulations would be an advantage. Hybrid working is available for this post with a balance of home and on-site working at University Hospital Southampton campus.
