ROLE OVERVIEW



PURPOSE OF JOB



The post holder will be responsible for assisting with AML/KYC onboarding and processing and completion of investor periodic reviews and PEP reviews.



MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES


Carrying out internet-based screening on potential investors into SPV and fund structures operated by the Jersey Funds team. Draft risk assessments for clients, investors, connected parties. Communicate with clients/investors to onboard clients/investors on to JTC's systems and obtain approval for the AML/KYC packs from authorised signatories. Monitoring of emails and maintenance of trackers relating to client/investor onboarding. Follow up and track AML/KYC related queries from clients, investors and internal administration teams. Use of Life Cycle Manager, Viewpoint, Worldcheck and any other systems required to onboard and maintain investor records. Participate in various projects relating to on-team compliance, risk, and AML/KYC as and when required by the business. Complete politically exposed person (PEP) reviews on clients, investors and connected parties to clients and investors. Complete investor periodic reviews on investors. Work on the remediation of the periodic investor review action points. Progress towards drafting of onboarding and risk paperwork such as Business Acceptance Forms.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS


High level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail. Excellent planning and organisation. Ability to work in fast paced environment with multiple priorities. Strong problem-solving abilities. Collaborative. Interest in financial services compliance and an understanding of why AML/KYC forms a critical part of the profession.
