We are looking for a talented, hard-working, motivated individual to join the team at the Diabetes Research Centre (University of Leicester), part of the University of Leicester College of Life Sciences. The post holder will provide administrative support for the Diabetes Research Centre's research, teaching and education programmes, as well as other teams within the Centre where appropriate. The role will be based at the Leicester Diabetes Centre within Leicester General Hospital. The Leicester Diabetes Centre has a proven track record of clinical teaching and research excellence, built on the strong collaboration between the University of Leicester and the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.
About you
As a Teaching and ResearchAdministrator, you will have suitable qualifications and/or suitable experience for the role (please see job summary for details) along with a working knowledge/experience of relevant systems, processes and procedures, including Microsoft Office software packages. You will have excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently (with appropriate guidance and supervision) and as part of a team. You will have good time management skills and a professional approach to work (including maintaining confidential information), as well as a willingness to learn and adapt as part of growing team.
