We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative skills and strong attention to detail. This role is vital in supporting the team. This role will include supporting specialist areas with administrative duties as required and performing various responsibilities, including making client appointments, keeping clients updated, and recording data using internal processes.
Duties
You will be a public face of Caithness Citizens Advice Bureau and undertake your duties with professionalism and empathy for our clients
You will use Citizens Advice information processes to communicate with clients either face-to-face or through digital devices
You will use Citizen Advice information processes to complete any additional checks and keep clients updated
You will be expected to use the tools and processes available to update client case records while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to GDPR
You will provide first-line administration support as required by the Bureau
You will record the minutes of meetings as directed by your team leader
You will use personal and interpersonal skills to liaise with advisers for the best outcome
You will provide necessary support and research to the Caithness Citizens Advice Bureau through management guidance
You will be expected to engage in home visits, outreach, and community work as directed by management
Qualifications
Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication
Ability to type accurately and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Competence in basic computerised systems
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills
