Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join the Healthcare team at HMP Wakefield, a Category A male prison in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
This is a fantastic, brand new role created due to growth, to support the management team onsite. You will be supporting the Head of Healthcare, Deputy's and Business Manager with tasks like data reporting, meeting preparation and minutes, diary management and general admin support!
Interviews will take place on Friday 5 December for this role.
Hours:
This is a part time role, working 30 hours per week, Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 16:00.
Salary:
This position is full time, and you will receive a salary of up to 28,574 FTE depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As our new Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
  • Provide excellent admin support to the senior management team here at HMP Wakefield
  • Manage diaries for the senior team, including the Head of Healthcare and Deputy Heads
  • Complete data reporting using excel
  • Prepare agendas for senior team meetings, minute take in meetings and summarise for the team
  • Support the senior team with general admin duties

Our new Administrator will ideally have:
  • Experience of supporting senior staff in an admin role
  • Experience of manging the diaries of up to 5 senior members of staff
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulae, pivot tables and reporting
  • Ability to collate and manipulate data using Excel
  • Any experience using a healthcare system such as SystmOne would be a bonus
  • Experience liaising with a variety of stakeholders and colleagues, both internal and external
