A1 Waste Management is seeking a reliable and professional individual to join our team to cover a maternity leave position, with the possibility of full-time employment as our company continues to grow.
This role combines administrative support, customer service, and weighbridge operations to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our site.
Responsibilities
Handle incoming calls and provide excellent customer service.
Manage email inboxes efficiently, responding to queries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Process and manage online orders accurately.
Use the Waste Logics system to record, track, and manage waste operations.
Operate the weighbridge, ensuring all vehicle movements are recorded correctly.
Handle cash transactions on the weighbridge and in the office for skip hire orders and other payments.
Greet and assist customers and drivers professionally, both in person and over the phone.
Perform general administrative duties to support daily operations.
Assist with social media platforms for advertising.
Requirements
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
Confident using computer systems and managing multiple tasks.
Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
Previous experience with Waste Logics or in a similar environment is desirable but not essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: 12.48-14.14 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
