Administrator

Winchester, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Are you the type of person who

thrives when things are busy

?

The one who can keep phones, emails, and enquiries under control and still have the headspace to

keep everything running smoothly?

We're a growing home renovation company looking for an

Administrator

to support our Office Manager with the day-to-day running of the office,

starting at the end of January.

Why join us?

This role exists to help our Office Manager focus on operations and as we grow, there's plenty of room for this position to grow too.

We're moving into a new showroom in Winchester and taking on more projects than ever. We're a small, hands-on team where everyone gets involved. One minute you'll be answering calls, the next you'll be booking engineers or making sure the showroom looks its best.

It's not the kind of place where you'll sit quietly in a corner for ten years doing the same three jobs. You'll be trusted with responsibility early on, and as the business grows, there'll be opportunities for you to take on more too.

What the job involves

This isn't a "just filing papers" kind of admin job. It's varied and you'll be right at the centre of how we work.

A typical day might include:

Answering around 30-40 calls and 50+ emails. Logging and responding to new enquiries (including Checkatrade leads) in ServiceM8, our CRM system. Greeting customers in the showroom, making them feel welcome and booking quotation appointments. Raising purchase orders and ordering materials from suppliers. Supporting our engineers by keeping diaries accurate and customers updated throughout their projects. Keeping job packs and spreadsheets tidy and up to date. Helping with general office tasks from keeping the showroom presentable to booking vans for MOTs.

About you

Accurate

- getting details right first time matters here.

You'll need previous admin or customer service experience. A background in trades, property, or construction would be a bonus.
