We have an exciting role on offer within our Public Health service as an Administrator/Receptionist (Group Work Support).

Are you a highly organised administrator with a creative flair and a passion for supporting meaningful work? Our service supports individuals experiencing challenges related to substance use, domestic abuse, and homelessness.


We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our team as an Administrator/Receptionist, with a specific focus on supporting our Group Work programme. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment, is well organised, and is passionate about helping to facilitate positive change for people in the local area. You'll work closely with our Group Worker to help design, prepare, and manage resources for structured group sessions, and will also assist during the delivery of psychosocial interventions. You'll provide general administrative support across the service, helping to ensure the smooth running of our group programme and wider service operations.


In this role, you will:

Assist in creating and organising resources for group sessions, including printed materials, presentations, and feedback forms.

Support the Group Worker during group sessions, helping facilitate psychosocial interventions.

Maintain accurate records of group attendance, outcomes, and service user feedback.

Support the promotion and scheduling of group programmes across our three buildings.

Provide reception cover and be a welcoming first point of contact for service users and professionals.

Offer clerical support to managers and frontline staff, including data entry, document management, and diary coordination.

Help monitor and report on engagement trends to support service development.


To be successful in this role, you will:

Be highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Have strong IT skills and experience using office software and databases.

Be confident in communicating with a wide range of people, including vulnerable service users.

Have a creative and proactive approach to supporting group work delivery.

Be experienced in providing professional administration support in a busy environment.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential. You will also need to have business insurance in place prior to starting with us, if not already held.
