Job Description

Key Responsibilities Reception Duties Greet and assist patients at the front desk in a polite, professional, and supportive manner. Answer telephone calls promptly and deal with patient queries or direct them to the appropriate team member. Book, amend, and cancel patient appointments using the clinical system. Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.



Administrative Duties Assist with handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, including letters, emails, and prescription requests. Help to maintain accurate patient records and update information on the system. Support the scanning, filing, and distribution of documents within the practice. Learn to use practice software and systems effectively.



Teamwork and Learning Work closely with the reception and admin team to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the surgery. Attend training sessions and complete coursework required for your apprenticeship. Develop strong communication, organisation, and IT skills. Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your supervisor.
