Experience of working within a busy office environment
Experience of working within a reception/ administrative capacity
Knowledge of managing internal and external stakeholder expectations
Excellent communication skills
Legal Aid experience advantages (training will be provided)
Ability to:
Organise, prioritise, and manage own workload
Multi-task to meet demand of conflicting priorities
Input statistical information into appropriate recording mechanisms
Contribute to overall support of the law centre
Always maintain confidentiality
Admin Role - Scottish Legal Aid
Submission of legal aid claims
Coordinate the tracking of all legal aid claims
Coordinate legal aid priorities with the admin/finance team
Special attention to detail
Updates legal aid spreadsheet daily
Reception Role
Answering Calls
Schedule Potential Clients
Receive visitors in the reception area
Respond to enquiries made on our website
Screen for legal aid
