Role Overview



Lewa Studios is looking for a friendly, organised, and reliable

Salon Admin / Receptionist

to support the smooth day-to-day running of the salon.

This role is central to the client experience and salon efficiency. The Admin / Receptionist will be the first point of contact for clients, ensure appointments run smoothly, and provide administrative and personal assistant support to the founders.

Afro-hair knowledge is

not required

, but basic understanding of salon services is an advantage to help the role run more efficiently.

Key ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & Client Experience



Welcome clients warmly and professionally upon arrival Manage client check-ins and check-outs Ensure appointments are running on time and communicate any delays Answer client queries in person, by phone, email, and social media Maintain a calm, organised, and welcoming reception area

Appointments & Salon Flow



Manage the booking system and daily appointment schedule Support stylists to ensure smooth transitions between clients Liaise between clients and staff to maintain salon flow Flag scheduling issues and assist in resolving them promptly

Administration & Systems



Handle general salon administration tasks Support organisation of systems, records, and documents Assist with filing, data entry, and basic reporting Ensure accurate client records are maintained

Founder & Salon Support (PA Duties)



Act as personal assistant support to the founders Assist with diary management, reminders, and admin tasks Support salon-wide admin tasks as delegated Handle confidential information with discretion

Email & Enquiries Management



Monitor and manage salon email inboxes Respond to client enquiries and booking queries professionally Escalate issues appropriately when required Ensure all queries are responded to in a timely manner

Key Skills & Requirements



Strong organisational and time-management skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Confident using computers and booking systems Good knowledge of

Microsoft Office

(Word, Excel, Outlook) General computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment Professional, friendly, and reliable attitude

Desirable (Not Essential)



Basic understanding of afro-hair or salon services Previous experience in reception, admin, or customer service roles Experience working in a fast-paced service environment

Pay: From 12.50 per hour
