College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences / Admissions Office



Full-time: 35 hours per week



Open-ended (permanent)



We are seeking an Admissions Team Leader to join the team responsible for undergraduate admissions to this College. This busy office is committed to providing the highest quality of customer service for applicants and their advisors. You will work as a member of the team to ensure that all areas of undergraduate recruitment, selection and induction are properly, professionally and efficiently managed.



The Opportunity:



You will enjoy working within a busy team environment and will be responsible for providing a first class service to potential applicants and their advisors. You will be responsible for supervising a team of Admissions Administrators and play a key part in ensuring the smooth-running of the Admissions office.



Your skills and attributes for success:



Enjoy working in a team environment within a busy customer focused office; Ability to supervise and delegate in a sympathetic and effective manner; An ability to work under pressure and to manage competing priorities; Proven administrative skills and attention to detail; Ability to communicate effectively in writing and in person; Experience of working within the education sector, preferably within an admissions, recruitment, marketing or communications environment;
