to join our growing neurodevelopmental assessment team. In this role, you will conduct high-quality autism assessments using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2), ensuring a supportive and professional experience for children, young people, and adults undergoing evaluation.
You'll work closely with multidisciplinary clinicians to contribute to accurate diagnostic decision-making, provide detailed written reports, and communicate findings clearly to clients and families.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct structured observational assessments using the
ADOS-2
across relevant modules.
Collaborate with psychologists, psychiatrists, speech & language therapists, and other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary diagnostic pathway.
Gather and interpret clinical information in line with NICE-recommended guidelines.
Produce clear, comprehensive assessment reports.
Maintain accurate records and adhere to clinical, safeguarding, and data protection standards.
Ensure a kind, respectful, client-centred approach throughout the assessment process.
Essential Criteria
Qualified professional in Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy, Nursing, Psychiatry, or related field.
Formal
ADOS-2 training
(please specify Module experience).
Experience conducting autism assessments in clinical, educational, or community settings.
Strong observational, analytical, and report-writing skills.
Excellent communication skills with clients of all ages and backgrounds.
Commitment to neurodiversity-affirming practice.
Desirable Criteria
Experience working within multidisciplinary diagnostic teams.
Training in DISC-AD, ADI-R, 3Di, QBCheck, or other complementary assessment tools.
Experience with remote or hybrid assessment models.
Knowledge of current UK autism diagnostic pathways and NICE guidance.
