About the Role



We are seeking a skilled and compassionate

ADOS Assessor

to join our growing neurodevelopmental assessment team. In this role, you will conduct high-quality autism assessments using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2), ensuring a supportive and professional experience for children, young people, and adults undergoing evaluation.

You'll work closely with multidisciplinary clinicians to contribute to accurate diagnostic decision-making, provide detailed written reports, and communicate findings clearly to clients and families.

To be negotiated per each face-to-face case referred or allocated to you. The starting range of 70.00 per hour stated in this advert is only for information so that this advertisement platform can allow our advert to be placed.

Key Responsibilities



Conduct structured observational assessments using the

ADOS-2

across relevant modules. Collaborate with psychologists, psychiatrists, speech & language therapists, and other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary diagnostic pathway. Gather and interpret clinical information in line with NICE-recommended guidelines. Produce clear, comprehensive assessment reports. Maintain accurate records and adhere to clinical, safeguarding, and data protection standards. Ensure a kind, respectful, client-centred approach throughout the assessment process.

Essential Criteria



Qualified professional in Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy, Nursing, Psychiatry, or related field. Formal

ADOS-2 training

(please specify Module experience). Experience conducting autism assessments in clinical, educational, or community settings. Strong observational, analytical, and report-writing skills. Excellent communication skills with clients of all ages and backgrounds. Commitment to neurodiversity-affirming practice.

Desirable Criteria



Experience working within multidisciplinary diagnostic teams. Training in DISC-AD, ADI-R, 3Di, QBCheck, or other complementary assessment tools. Experience with remote or hybrid assessment models. Knowledge of current UK autism diagnostic pathways and NICE guidance.
