The Glasgow Clyde Project

The Glasgow Clyde Project provides a holistic support service for individuals who have experienced significant life challenges and are now ready to engage in education but may have faced barriers along the way.

We are seeking passionate and skilled Adult and Youth Workers who are confident in delivering trauma-informed approaches in both one-to-one and small group settings. Ideal candidates will have experience designing and facilitating workshops, familiarity with SQA qualifications and a proven ability to manage a caseload of referrals.

Successful candidates will play a key role in helping students overcome personal and systemic challenges to achieve their potential. Responsibilities include:

Assessing individual needs and providing tailored one-to-one support.

Designing and delivering personalised learning activities and progression programmes. Collaborating with internal and external support services to ensure wraparound care. Building strong connections with local communities, voluntary organisations, and agencies. Knowledge of the local area and its support networks is highly desirable.


Applicants will be effective communicators with proven leadership skills. You will be computer literate with excellent organisational skills, a flexible approach and the ability to work alone and on your own initiative. Experience of supporting vulnerable groups is essential, as is a qualification at HNC level/SCQF level 7 in an appropriate subject area or have relevant skills and experience in an appropriate discipline.
