London College of Professional Studies (LCPS), a vocational college based in East London, is seeking an experienced and committed Adult Care Assessor/IQA to join our team. This
office-based
role focuses on assessing and supporting adult care learners while ensuring our programmes meet industry and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assess adult learners completing care qualifications, ensuring they meet awarding-body and sector standards.
Lead and support internal quality assurance (IQA) processes, including sampling assessments and maintaining accurate documentation.
Provide clear, constructive feedback to learners and tutors to support ongoing improvement.
Ensure compliance with Ofsted, CQC, awarding bodies, and other regulatory frameworks.
Deliver training sessions or workshops when required.
Maintain current knowledge of industry developments, including medical terminology, nutrition, and public health.
Coach and mentor learners to support successful completion of their programmes.
Produce reports on assessment and IQA outcomes for management review.
Experience & Skills Required
Proven experience in nursing, public health, teaching, or the wider health and social care sector.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, nutrition, and public health initiatives.
IQA experience is highly preferable
, alongside previous assessing experience within adult care.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and confidently.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple assessments and maintain accurate records.
Understanding of adult care training regulations is an advantage.

Pay: 24,000.00-33,000.00 per year
