Job Description
Trusted Local Care, Day Center offers Dementia Care to older adults in South West Birmingham district.
Your role will include: Supporting the Day Centre to provide high quality social and personal care to older people who have a dementia and may also have additional disabilities. To provide assistance, where necessary with personal care, To provide support at meal times and give out refreshments. To promote social skills and participation of members in appropriate therapeutic and enjoyable activities to include things like, quizzes, sing a longs, seated music to movement, creative activities and outings.
You will need a caring and warm approach, and have good communication skills.
You will need to be able to complete care notes and other administrative records to a good standard.
You will be working as part of a team with regular supervision and by agreement may be required to cover colleagues work during absences.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.80 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 22.5 per week
