Job description


Location: Penrith Library, Penrith


Contract Type: Zero Hours


About this opportunity





We are looking for an inspirational tutor to deliver Arts and Crafts classes to our learners across Penrith and the surrounding areas. Preferably, someone with experience in painting and drawing and the ability to teach a range of textiles and crafts would be an advantage.

You will be able to prepare and deliver creative and exciting lessons that enthuse and develop adult learners, work with them in a variety of settings across the local community, and support individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities. You will have a can-do attitude, build excellent working relationships with both learners and colleagues, and take a flexible approach to identifying and meeting emerging needs in the local area, which may include some evening work.

You will need:
A recognised teaching qualification (Min level 3, e.g PTLLS or working towards one). Relevant qualification and/or experience in the subject specialism Maths and English qualifications at Level 2 or prepared to work towards these
