  • be a qualified, registered social worker

  • Mental Health- with bases in Lowestoft, Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds

  • Adult Safeguarding and Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)- with bases in Ipswich
We currently have the following vacancies: 1 x Grade 5 Social Worker, Bury Town - Bury Town is a busy, supportive team, working with the adults of Bury St Edmunds and surrounding villages. Bury Town work with our colleagues in health, NSFT, housing and the wider multi-disciplinary team to undertake assessments under The Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act, respond to safeguarding concerns, reviews of care and support as well as running a duty service to respond to urgent needs. 1 x Grade 6 Senior Social Worker , North Flexible Care & Support - The FCST is a busy team working to across the whole of the Waveney area in Suffolk, carrying out Care Act Assessments. This team provides crisis support when needed, ensuring that Reviews, and urgent S42 investigations are carried out and the person is at the centre of the assessments. 1 x Grade 6 Senior Social Worker, North Hospital to Home - The Hospital to Home team work as part of the Multi-Disciplinary team in the Transfer of Care Hub within the James Paget University Hospital. This work is varied and fast paced ensuring that people experience a person centred and timely discharge, with a focus on reablement and promoting independence. Please note that the Hospital Teams operate a 7-day working pattern, so a weekend working rota (approximately 1 weekend per month) would apply.
Travel requirements of the role: Frequent Travel This organisation positively encourages the use of technology to communicate and engage, but in this role, you will need to operate across a wide and rural area, so you must either hold a full and current driving licence and have access to personal transport or meet the mobility requirements of the role through other reasonable and suitable means.
