Connected Families: Autism & Mental Health is looking for passionate and experienced Community Support Workers to join our dedicated team. We specialise in supporting individuals and families living with autism and mental health challenges, empowering them to lead fulfilling lives within their communities.
About the Role:
As a Community Support Worker, you will provide tailored, person-centred support to individuals in their homes and local communities. You'll build trusting relationships, promote independence, and support individuals in achieving their personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide emotional and practical support to individuals with autism and mental health needs
Develop and follow person-centred care plans
Engage clients in community activities and social inclusion
Liaise with families, carers, and professionals to ensure continuity of care
Maintain accurate records and adhere to safeguarding protocols
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience working with individuals with autism and mental health challenges
Strong understanding of neurodiversity and mental health conditions
An excellent understanding of safeguarding both children and adults
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Enhanced DBS
Willingness to work unsociable hours, including evenings and weekends

Pay: 13.50-14.87 per hour
Expected hours: 6 - 37 per week
