About the role
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in encouraging independence and promoting an active lifestyle for our service users. Key responsibilities include:
Supporting service users with personal care, cooking, and cleaning.
Acting as a key worker and completing required reports/paperwork.
Encouraging engagement in community activities and attending appointments.
Using service users' vehicles for outings.
Assisting with de-escalation and managing challenging behaviours (training provided).

Skills
6-12 months of UK experience in a care environment, ideally in a learning disability setting.
Understanding of challenging behaviours.
Computer literacy.
Reliable, empathetic, and trustworthy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident and able to positively influence the lives of service users.
Willingness to actively engage in activities in and out of the home.
