Join our dynamic First Response Team in Warrington as an Adult's Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in providing immediate support and intervention for individuals in crisis. This position requires a compassionate and skilled professional who can respond to complex situations with empathy and expertise. As part of a dedicated team, you will work collaboratively to assess needs, develop intervention plans, and ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults in our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of individuals in crisis to identify immediate needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans in collaboration with service users and other professionals.
  • Providing crisis intervention and support in a variety of settings, including home visits and community outreach.
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers, law enforcement, and community organizations.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely case records and documentation in accordance with local policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
  • A recognised social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in adult social work, particularly in crisis intervention and emergency response.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working in partnership with service users and other stakeholders.
