Job Description

Join our dedicated Safeguarding Team in Redbridge as an Adult's Social Worker, where you will play a crucial role in protecting vulnerable adults and promoting their well-being. In this position, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of individuals, developing care plans, and ensuring that appropriate support services are in place. You will work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to safeguard adults at risk, ensuring that their rights are upheld and their voices are heard.
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults in need of safeguarding interventions.
• Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with service users and their families.
• Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including health services, mental health professionals, and law enforcement agencies.
• Providing advice and support to service users and their families regarding safeguarding issues.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with local policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA in Social Work, MA in Social Work, or equivalent).
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Demonstrable experience in adult social work, particularly within safeguarding.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in adult safeguarding.
