We have an exciting opportunity for Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Kirkham, a category D Prison located in Kirkham, Preston.
The prison has it s own Healthcare Department where you will be based and the team consists of a team of 10, working with Primary Care Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and GP's

Hours:
The role full time 37.5 hours per there are various shifts covering: Monday - Friday
37.5 hours per week
9am - 5pm
Salary:
This position is part time, you'll receive an annual salary between 57,603 - 64,471, depending on experience

What you'll be doing
As a Advanced Clinical Practitioner, your responsibilities will vary. You will
Demonstrate judgement in assessing and managing wide ranging and complex patient problems
Provide clinical leadership for the mental health team, This multi-disciplinary team is made up of a variety of
registered and non-registered professionals including; mental health, and substance misuse practitioners You will act as a role model ensuring professional appearance and maintaining
professional standards at all times Supporting senior clinicians on site you will be part of the daily leadership team, providing clinical input for all patients
As a clinical expert in your field, you will work with the team to ensure; patient safety, the management of complex cases and ensure the most up to date treatment methodology is applied to patient care.

Qualifications required:
Registered Nurse - NMC Adult, or HCPC
Independent/supplementary prescriber qualification
Substance Misuse prescriber (RGCP2 trained) or willing to work towards.
MSc in Advanced Practice
Experience working autonomously as an advanced clinical practitioner following best practice
guidance
Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
