What you'll be doing
To deliver our temporary site services package, Assists Project Engineers and Supervisors with the planning and daily execution of the construction project. Responsible for maintaining Mechanical Site temporary services of the project schedule as assigned by the Supervisor, specifically on Old Oak Common.
Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm.
Support the delivery of CSUK's Sustainability activities.
Adhere to the information contained within Work Package Plans and Risk Assessments.
Provide suggestions and recommendation's for Temporary Works solutions.
Identify potential hazards and proactively implement actions and controls.
Ensure all plant and small tools are adequately maintained before use.
Adhere to the information contained within Task Briefings Sheets and toolbox talks.
Through observation and liaison with the workforce and subcontractors suggests improvement areas.
Ensure plan is adequate for the task prior to being used.
Keeps up to date with changes in legislation.
Be familiar with, and demonstrate commitment to the requirements of the Health & Safety and Environmental policies.
Seeks in improve levels of safety at every opportunity.
Identify future requirements for setting out and communicate to Engineering team.
Assist with the completion of QA using BIM field 360.
Weekly review of small tools and plant list.
Awareness of project scope and highlights items of additional work.
Who we're looking for
NVQ or SVQ Level 2 in BSE.
Fully qualified Craftsperson with desire to become an Appointed Person (AP)
Full driving licence
Able to clearly communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure that these are followed accurately.
Capable of taking ownership of tasks and communicating outcomes.
Good working knowledge of current Health & Safety Legislation.
Adapts an innovation approach to enhancing safe work systems.
Awareness of Mechanical Specifications.
Understanding of Construction Tolerances.
