Overview:



We are seeking a dedicated and professional

Advanced

Dental Nurse

to join our friendly and supportive team. The ideal candidate will be a

qualified or experienced dental nurse

who is confident working in a busy clinical environment and keen to develop their skills in advanced areas of dentistry.

This role offers a varied and rewarding workload, with exposure to

implants, orthodontics, and restorative treatments

, as well as opportunities to take on

Treatment Coordination

duties and assist with

referral coordination

.

Key Responsibilities:



Provide chairside assistance during a range of dental procedures including

implants, orthodontics, and restorative treatments

. Maintain high standards of infection control and ensure all clinical areas comply with CQC and practice policies. Support the clinical team in delivering a smooth, efficient workflow throughout the day. Undertake

Treatment Coordinator (TCO)

activities, including patient communication, follow-up, and treatment planning discussions. Assist with

referral coordination

, ensuring all referrals are processed, tracked, and managed efficiently.

Requirements:



Qualified Dental Nurse with

GDC registration

, or an experienced nurse working toward qualification.

Full-time availability

, including the ability to work

Saturdays

(rota basis). Experience or strong interest in

implants, orthodontics, and restorative dentistry

. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Confident using dental software and IT systems (training can be provided). Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a patient-focused approach.

Desirable:



Previous experience in

TCO or referral coordination

. Additional qualifications (e.g., radiography, sedation, or implant nursing) would be advantageous.
