Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with acute, chronic, and complex conditions Diagnose, treat, and manage patients independently, including prescribing medications as an independent prescriber Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests and investigations Manage caseloads effectively, prioritising urgent and routine care Refer patients appropriately to secondary care or other services Contribute to disease prevention and health promotion activities Support QOF targets and chronic disease management programmes Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in line with clinical governance standards Participate in clinical audit, quality improvement, and research initiatives Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing and administrative staff as appropriate Engage in continuous professional development and maintain professional registration requirements
