. This role is ideal for a confident autonomous practitioner with experience in
urgent and primary care
settings.
You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and discharging patients with a range of minor illness and injuries. The service operates 7 days a week, with flexible
day and evening shifts
available to suit your schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Independently assess, diagnose, and treat minor illnesses and injuries
Prescribe medications under your V300 qualification
Provide safe, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment
Work collaboratively with GPs, paramedics, and urgent care clinicians
Ensure high standards of clinical governance and patient care
Contribute to service development and quality improvement
Requirements
Registered Nurse with valid NMC PIN
MSc or PGDip in Advanced Clinical Practice
V300 Independent Prescribing qualification (essential)
Previous experience in a UTC, GP surgery, A&E, or Walk-In Centre
Confident in autonomous decision-making and minor illness/injury management
Immediate availability is highly desirable
