Job Description

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and compassionate Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The position is for 6 sessions per week over 3 days with some flexibility for the right person. Currently we have 3 GPs, 1 ANP, 2 GPNs and 1 HCA, as well as 6 admin/receptionists and our managing partner.

The ideal candidate will work alongside the ANP and GPs and be responsible for providing high quality patient care, conducting assessments, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans. Team working is core to our appointment system, which is different to most practices; we have no waiting times which makes for fewer stresses for the team and happier patients.

The team all come together at around 11am - this is a coffee and cheese break with the added bonus of clinical support, team building and learning. This meeting is also invaluable for our learners which can include students, FY2s and GPSTs.

Our system works thanks to the team all supporting each other, so as well as the obvious professional qualifications preferably coupled with experience gained in a GP practice, OOH or A&E, the absolutely essential element is personality. Getting the right fit is vital to the success of this.

This may suit someone whose current role is silo by design but who would rather develop their career in a busy and supportive team environment. The salary is dependant on qualifications and experience and the quoted figure is the WTE and is just a guideline - please contact for more details, as appropriate.
