The ANP plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care within a clinical setting. This position involves working closely with patients, assisting in their healthcare needs, and supporting the medical team to ensure efficient practice operations. Responsibilities
Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver a comprehensive spectrum of clinical services, encompassing triage, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and the management of acute and chronic conditions for patients of all age groups.Conducting assessments and formulating management plans in close collaboration with patients and other healthcare team members.
Demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process, referring or signposting patients who present with undifferentiated or undiagnosed conditions relating to minor illness or minor injury.
As an independent prescriber: prescribe/ de-prescribe safe, effective, and appropriate medication as defined by current legislative framework.
Request and interpret investigations such as blood results and cultures.
Maintaining meticulous and up-to-date medical records, aligning with clinical and professional standards.
