Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practitioners (ANP and ACP) to join our healthcare team in order to support a Telephone Triage service in Leicestershire. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, conduct thorough assessments, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. This role requires a strong foundation in medical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Please note this is an on-site role providing assessments to patients remotely, and unfortunately is not a remote role in itself.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive consultations over the telephone. Utilise advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients requiring the clinical service. Provide education to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Stay informed about advancements in medical practices and participate in continuing education opportunities. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures within the clinical setting.

Qualifications

Valid NMC / HCPC / GPhC Registration Non-Medical Prescribing (V300) is essential Postgraduate / Level 7 study Assessment / Clinical Examination module (Level 7) Telephone / Remote Consultation experience Proven experience in patient care settings, demonstrating the ability to manage diverse patient populations effectively Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team Commitment to providing compassionate care while respecting patient confidentiality and dignity
