Advanced Nurse Practitioner/advanced Clinical Practitioner
Job Description
To provide Nurse Practitioner services to patients of the practice, including diagnosis, treatment, screening and advice within the professional competence of the post holder. To provide clinical leadership including acting on Clinical Governance issues, such as urgent and routine results, letters and on instructions from outside agencies such as hospitals and consultants. To work independently in the surgery in the absence of a GP, possessing the initiative and confidence to do so. To work as part of the Primary Healthcare Team, sharing decision-making and information where appropriate.
