Job Description

Due to a vacancy we are excited to be able to offer an opportunity for an experienced Social Worker, Mental Health Nurse, Child Psychotherapist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Speech & Language Therapist or Systemic Psychotherapist registered with either HCPC, BACP, PTUK, to work in our Hull Community CLA CAMH Service. Training in/ experience using attachment-based therapies and working with a LAC population is desirable. The therapist will join a committed LAC Service within Hull CLA CAMHS consisting of play therapists, art therapists, social workers and clinical psychologists.



To provide advanced assessments and therapeutic interventions for young people who are looked after including children & young people living in residential children's homes and foster placements.



To provide comprehensive written reports on a multi-disciplinary basis following assessment



To work autonomously and collaboratively within the MDT, providing consultation, supervision and teaching for other agencies/professionals.



To participate in facilitating participation forums on a rolling programme with other team members.



Be responsible for ensuring clinical outcome data is routinely entered and appropriately collated
