We are expanding our Children's Occupational Therapy service. We are looking for experienced Occupational Therapist who is ready to progress into a leadership role. We fully recognise the value and fundamental importance of the role Occupational Therapy play in promoting people's wellbeing, maximising independence, and supporting people to live meaningful lives.
The post holder will:
Provide day to day operational management and support for professionals working in the occupational therapy service.
Promote best practice standards based on an up-to-date knowledge of occupational Therapy practice developments and relevant policy and legislation in relation to Children.
Provide professional casework advice, expert Occupational Therapy knowledge, support and guidance to colleagues, including newly qualified Occupational Therapists, trainees and other team members and/or volunteers.
Have excellent clinical knowledge of equipment and adaptations assessment and provision in occupational therapy.
Be able to work alone and within a team.
Be able to organise and prioritise workload and balance this with conflicting demands of the role.
Hold appropriate qualification, BSc OT, Dip OT, or equivalent management qualification.
Registration with Health Care Profession Council (HCPC)
The service operates over 5 days a week. Monday-Friday (no unsociable hours).
