Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled Scaffold Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, erecting, and dismantling scaffolding systems for various construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The Scaffold Builder will utilise various tools and techniques to ensure that scaffolding is secure and meets all regulatory standards. HGV Licence an advantage

Responsibilities



Construct, erect, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to specifications and safety regulations. Ensure all scaffolding is plumb, level, and secure before use. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including carpenters and electricians, to facilitate smooth project progress. Use power tools and hand tools effectively for fabrication and assembly tasks. Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding systems to identify any potential hazards or maintenance needs. Assist with painting and masonry tasks as required on-site. Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency. Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications



Proven experience in scaffold building or a related construction field is preferred. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment is highly desirable. Basic knowledge of electrical systems is an advantage. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed. Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to maintaining safety standards on-site. A valid construction-related certification or training would be beneficial but not essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 20.93-22.08 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Overtime Weekend availability
