Newcastle College have an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about supporting learners to achieve their potential. The successful advanced technical lecturer will have the opportunity to work on our exciting T Level Electrotechnical programme as well as influence the direction of the electrical department. This role includes supporting learners to attain excellent results as part of their study programme as well as developing young people into a successful workforce. The College are seeking a candidate that can work collaboratively and effectively within the department and encourage and support our young people to secure the very best outcomes. The successful candidate will have extensive experience of preparing and adapting learning materials to enhance the learner journey and will be confident in delivering taught sessions in a range of environments, up to Level 3. The advanced technical lecturer role has a requirement for a minimum level 3 electrical installation and ideally will hold inspection and testing and 18th Edition Regulation qualifications. The successful candidate will have experience of using computer software such as Microsoft applications and ideally have applied these in a teaching and learning environment. Experience of supporting and facilitating individuals and groups of learners is essential, as is a proven track record of providing suitable learning resources in those settings.
