In 2024 we supported over 9,200 people with more than 40,000 problems. With offices in Mold and Connah's Quay - plus outreach locations and remote services - we are proud to be a vital part of the support network for Flintshire's residents.
About the Role
As a
Generalist Caseworker
, you'll work with people from all walks of life, helping them to understand their rights, make informed choices, and resolve complex problems. You'll provide advice in person, by phone, and online.
Your role will include:
Advising clients on a wide range of advice issues (e.g. benefits, debt, housing, employment)
Handling urgent cases and managing a caseload
Carrying out benefit checks, completing benefit applications and requesting reconsiderations.
Representing and negotiating on behalf of clients where appropriate
Referring clients to specialist services or external organisations
Identifying issues for research and campaigns
Using our case management systems and adhering to quality standards
Developing your knowledge and skills through regular training
