As the Aerodrome Safety & Compliance Manager, you will be a key member of the Aerodrome Operations team responsible for providing expert assurance, advice and guidance on safety, risk and regulatory matters within the operation. This is a high-impact leadership position where your expertise will directly shape the safety culture and performance of our aerodrome operations. You'll lead the development and maintain accredited safety and quality management systems, ensuing regulatory requirements are met and operational safety risks are managed effectively, whilst developing strategies, plans and campaigns which drive a continuous improvement in safety performance and culture across the Aerodrome operation. You'll report directly into the Head of Aerodrome Compliance and lead a team of 4 Safety & Compliance professionals.
What will make you successful in the role?

We are looking for someone with proven experience & understanding of risk assessment and management principles and developing and maintaining Safety and Quality Management systems. You'll be experienced in developing assurance frameworks and undertaking audit activity, with the ability to develop strategies and plans to drive continuous improvement. Exceptional stakeholder management skills are essential, both internal and external in the form of regulators, as is the ability to generate reports and statistics to provide insight. We'd be particularly keen to speak to candidates who have experience & passion in an aviation safety management background.
