Position Overview:
As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Quality Engineer
to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining and improving our quality standards
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support internal and external audits in line with industry standards and customer requirements
Apply and facilitate structured problem-solving techniques, including 8D, to drive root cause analysis and effective corrective actions
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in engineering, production, and supply chain to support continuous improvement initiatives
Develop, maintain, and improve the company's Quality Management System (QMS), quality procedures, documentation, and training
Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure quality is embedded at every stage of the manufacturing process
Develop inspection processes, ensuring that incoming, in-process, and final inspections are performed effectively
Monitor, analyse, and report on key quality metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in a quality engineering role with strong knowledge of
AS9100
,
ISO 9001
, and customer-specific aerospace requirements.
Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including 8D, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis.
Hands-on experience with auditing (internal/external, supplier, or regulatory).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive quality culture across teams.
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Desirable:
Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing experience or certification
